About ME
Howdy! My name is Judy Weir. I am very excited to be teaching fourth grade reading, writing and social studies this year. I am beginning my 30th year of teaching and my 21st year here at Pebble Creek Elementary. I spent 22 years teaching first grade. I taught first grade for 9 1/2 years in Navasota before coming to Pebble Creek in 1999 where I taught first grade for 13 years. I am beginning my 8th year of teaching fourth grade. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in reading and kinesiology. My Texas certification includes certificates in: grades first through sixth, ESL (English as a Second Language) and GT (Gifted and Talented). I completed my Master’s degree in Educational Administration in December 2009. Along with working on my Master’s, I also completed my principal certification.
As your child’s teacher, my goal this year is to provide an enriched learning environment where your child will thrive and thirst for knowledge through reading and writing, along with developing a love for Texas and it's rich history.
